ETU SQL is designed to ease the process of working with SQL Server databases by providing an intuitive GUI where you can initiate new server connections, browse and edit database contents. It can assist you in performing basic database management operations, such as modifying tables, creating or deleting databases or managing users.
Once a new connection is set up, you can navigate throughout the database folders using the tree-view explorer. Selecting a table opens it in a separate pane, where you can easily edit existing records and add new ones.
ETU SQL also comes with a set of data analysis functions intended to offer a better understanding of the data. You can use it to generate charts to graphically represent data in a table, sort records and calculate the average or the sum of values in a column or determine the minimum and the maximum entries. Data can be easily exported to Excel for further processing.
The collection of SQL statement templates can provide a starting point in running SQL queries. Alternatively, it can load and execute query files (CFG) stored on your computer.
Aside from editing records and running queries, the application can be used for creating new tables, deleting or updating existing ones and managing users.
Its advanced search capabilities enable you to conveniently filter the contents of your database by various criteria in order to quickly find the entry you are looking for. This feature can really prove useful in case you are dealing with a large database with numerous entries.
